COVID-19: Nigeria records 452 new cases on june 23, total now 21,371
Nigeria has recorded 452 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, June 23th, 2020.
Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 14 states including FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 209 cases.
The states with the 452 new cases are Lagos – 209, Oyo – 67, Delta – 37, Ogun – 36, FCT – 22, Abia – 20, Enugu – 16, Bauchi – 15, Kaduna – 8, Ondo – 8, Osun – 7, Imo – 3, Benue – 3, Borno -1.
NCDC also announced that as of 11:20 pm on 23th June, there are 21,371 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.
Seven thousand, three hundred and thirty-eight (7,338) patients have been discharged with five hundred and thirty-three (533) deaths across the country.
